Bio
For a good part of my life I worked in the morning and early afternoon in my studio and then, as an afterschool teacher, spent the rest of the day watching children deep at play. I not only learned and developed great respect for their process, but found myself absorbing its elements and profoundly affected by them.
Over the years my work has become ever more intuitive. I follow the free play of my hands and see where they lead me; explore what I can do with new materials; and work from whatever is around or inside of me. Nothing is off limits, because I have none. And the only rules are the ones I make up.
