Abstract mark-making and comical renditions of body fragments suggest migration and cultural upheaval in Mary Crenshaw’s work. She is exhibiting mixed media paintings on canvas, works on paper, ceramics, and a limited-edition artist book made in collaboration with poet and street theatre performer edre and Gate 44 printmaking studio in Milan.
The poet edre, will be performing starting 4pm Friday, June 23, Saturday, June 24, Tuesday, June 27 and Wednesday, June 28.
